Air Pressure Testing
Air pressure testing is carried out in order to characterise the air permeability of the building envelope. Since the introduction of the 2008 building regulations, all new dwellings require an air pressure test.
The aim of this regulation is to measure the airflow within a building and identify area that may lead to unacceptable heat loss.
BM Energy Consultants can carry out air pressure tests on dwellings in accordance with IS EN 13829.
While carrying out air pressure tests our technician can also identify areas of air leakage using thermal imaging or smoke testing and recommend or carry out remedial works.
